Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Forestry & Paper, Distributors and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares declined 0.03%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Cartier Saada (CS:CRS), which rose 5.00% or 1.00 points to trade at 21.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Brasseries Du Maroc (CS:SBM) added 4.76% or 100 points to end at 2200 and Fenie Brossette (CS:FBR) was up 4.21% or 4.00 points to 99.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Jet Contractors (CS:JET), which fell 7.37% or 10.90 points to trade at 137.00 at the close. BMCI (CS:BMCI) declined 6.28% or 39 points to end at 580 and Timar (CS:TIM) was down 5.91% or 14.45 points to 230.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 24 to 16 and 11 ended unchanged.
Shares in Jet Contractors (CS:JET) fell to all time lows; losing 7.37% or 10.90 to 137.00. Shares in Timar (CS:TIM) fell to all time lows; falling 5.91% or 14.45 to 230.00.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.25% or 0.63 to $49.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.24% or 0.64 to hit $50.82 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.76% or 9.65 to trade at $1273.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.11% to 10.7820, while USD/MAD fell 0.04% to 9.9008.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.06% at 98.70.
