Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Distributors, Mining and Banking sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares declined 0.03%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Stokvis Nord Afrique (CS:SNA), which rose 6.00% or 1.56 points to trade at 27.56 at the close. Meanwhile, Maghreb Oxygene (CS:OXYG) added 5.12% or 5.85 points to end at 119.95 and Med Paper (CS:PAP) was up 5.06% or 0.77 points to 15.98 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Snep (CS:SNP), which fell 4.87% or 6.20 points to trade at 121.00 at the close. S2M (CS:S2M) declined 4.47% or 8.50 points to end at 181.50 and Sonasid (CS:SOND) was down 3.32% or 25 points to 725.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 22 to 14 and 5 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.70% or 0.42 to $60.56 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.30% or 0.20 to hit $65.08 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.82% or 9.70 to trade at $1187.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.40% to 10.9410, while USD/MAD rose 0.19% to 9.6770.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.48% at 94.71.
