Investing.com – Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Mining, Real Estate and Telecoms sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares added 0.28%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Miniere Touissit (CS:CMT), which rose 5.21% or 54 points to trade at 1090 at the close. Meanwhile, Stroc Industrie (CS:STR) added 4.45% or 2.09 points to end at 49.10 and Residences Dar Saada SA (CS:RDS) was up 3.71% or 6.30 points to 176.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Centrale Danone (CS:CDA), which fell 5.05% or 29 points to trade at 545 at the close. IB Maroc Com SA (CS:IBC) declined 4.56% or 5.25 points to end at 110.00 and Fenie Brossette (CS:FBR) was down 3.98% or 3.78 points to 91.22.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 22 to 11 and 10 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.25% or 0.11 to $44.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.76% or 0.84 to hit $46.79 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 1.87% or 24.75 to trade at $1351.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.27% to 10.9190, while USD/MAD fell 0.55% to 9.7091.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.90% at 94.88.
