Investing.com – Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Insurance, Distributors and Transport sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares rose 0.28%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Label Vie (CS:LBV), which rose 9.96% or 106 points to trade at 1170 at the close. Meanwhile, Wafa Assurance (CS:WASS) added 5.83% or 208 points to end at 3770 and Colorado (CS:COL) was up 4.16% or 3.00 points to 75.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fenie Brossette (CS:FBR), which fell 5.54% or 7.45 points to trade at 127.00 at the close. Risma (CS:RIS) declined 4.30% or 9.40 points to end at 209.10 and Zellidja S.A (CS:ZELI) was down 3.41% or 6.05 points to 171.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 21 to 14 and 6 ended unchanged.
Shares in Zellidja S.A (CS:ZELI) fell to all time lows; falling 3.41% or 6.05 to 171.00.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.75% or 1.07 to $60.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.95% or 1.27 to hit $64.22 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.33% or 3.90 to trade at $1190.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.28% to 10.8960, while USD/MAD fell 1.06% to 9.6411.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.77% at 95.26.
