(Reuters) - Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) said on Sunday it was informed by Bytedance that it would not be selling TikTok's U.S. operations to Microsoft.

"We are confident our proposal would have been good for TikTok’s users, while protecting national security interests," Microsoft said in a statement.

The United States must protect our security and interests from Communist China. Tik Tok will be shut down. It must be severed completely.

China needs to decide if they approve this or not. China will probably allow the partnership, but chinese technology core must stay with Bytedance. I think China will not allow Trump to steal the company that easy.

Trump thought he can stole chinese tech easily...China still have to approve. I think it will only be a partner with Oracle, and the core tech has to stay with Bytedance.

Tiktok is not a business, its a tool used by the CCP to spy on foreigners. Thatd why tiktok doesnt care for profit because the CCP foots the bill. Just like Tencent and Huawei.

I think Trump has less than two months to play with his power. After that, I think China will tell him bye bye.

I think Chin rather shut it down then to allow Trump to steal their technology. The only way is they will allow partnership, but core tech stays with Bytedance.
