Investing.com – Italy stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Financials, Technology and Telecoms sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 added 2.27%.
The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were FinecoBank Banca Fineco SpA (MI:FBK), which rose 7.90% or 0.40 points to trade at 5.39 at the close. Meanwhile, UBI Banca (MI:UBI) added 7.03% or 0.1560 points to end at 2.3760 and Unicredit (MI:CRDI) was up 6.63% or 0.1300 points to 2.0900 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Campari (MI:CPRI), which fell 0.15% or 0.01 points to trade at 9.80 at the close. Italcementi (MI:ITAI) declined 0.09% or 0.010 points to end at 10.570 and Recordati (MI:RECI) was up 0.55% or 0.15 points to 27.43.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 286 to 101 and 28 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.91% or 0.43 to $47.84 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.20% or 0.59 to hit $49.75 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.03% or 0.35 to trade at $1343.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.10% to 1.1309, while EUR/GBP fell 0.48% to 0.8578.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.03% at 94.49.
