Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Technology, Biomed and Communication sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.84%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Harel (TA:HARL), which rose 2.90% or 56 points to trade at 1985 at the close. Meanwhile, Airport City (TA:ARPT) added 2.33% or 101 points to end at 4435 and Amot (TA:AMOT) was up 1.87% or 31 points to 1687 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Perrigo (TA:PRGO), which fell 10.72% or 3270 points to trade at 27230 at the close. Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA) declined 2.78% or 580 points to end at 20300 and Bazan (TA:ORL) was down 1.88% or 2.8 points to 146.2.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 219 to 168 and 54 ended unchanged.
Shares in Perrigo (TA:PRGO) fell to 5-year lows; falling 10.72% or 3270 to 27230. Shares in Airport City (TA:ARPT) rose to all time highs; gaining 2.33% or 101 to 4435.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 1.15% or 0.62 to $53.43 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.97% or 0.55 to hit $55.87 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.07% or 0.85 to trade at $1257.95 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.69% to 3.6402, while EUR/ILS fell 0.27% to 3.8689.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.32% at 100.82.
