Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Biomed, Technology and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.15%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Partner (TA:PTNR), which rose 1.98% or 35 points to trade at 1799 at the close. Meanwhile, Cellcom Israel Ltd (TA:CEL) added 1.47% or 48 points to end at 3323 and Airport City Ltd (TA:ARPT) was up 1.43% or 66 points to 4678 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Perrigo (TA:PRGO), which fell 3.75% or 1020 points to trade at 26200 at the close. Sodastream International Ltd (TA:SODA) declined 1.93% or 400.0 points to end at 20300.0 and Nice Ltd (TA:NICE) was down 1.44% or 390 points to 26750.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 211 to 189 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.35% or 0.17 to $48.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.51% or 0.26 to hit $51.23 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.70% or 8.76 to trade at $1258.16 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.10% to 3.5552, while EUR/ILS fell 0.69% to 4.1473.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.56% at 93.81.
