Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Biomed, Technology and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 declined 2.58% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were Israel Corp (TA:ILCO), which fell 0.14% or 120 points to trade at 88500 at the close. Meanwhile, ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL) fell 0.20% or 4 points to end at 1973 and Isramco L (TA:ISRAp) was down 0.44% or 0.3 points to 68.3 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Perrigo (TA:PRGO), which fell 8.42% or 5320 points to trade at 57900 at the close. OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) declined 7.91% or 352 points to end at 4098 and Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) was down 3.18% or 41 points to 1247.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 262 to 57 and 132 ended unchanged.
Shares in Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) fell to 5-year lows; losing 0.14% or 120 to 88500.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.42% or 1.01 to $40.74 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.59% or 0.72 to hit $44.47 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.19% or 2.10 to trade at $1083.10 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.15% to 3.8859, while EUR/ILS fell 0.20% to 4.1868.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.33% at 98.89.
