Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Biomed, Banking and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 fell 0.43%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were Isramco L (TA:ISRAp), which rose 0.67% or 0.5 points to trade at 74.6 at the close. Meanwhile, Mizrahi Tefahot (TA:MZTF) added 0.45% or 21 points to end at 4648 and Strauss Group (TA:STRS) was up 0.40% or 24 points to 6077 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Perrigo (TA:PRGO), which fell 1.07% or 360 points to trade at 33260 at the close. Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) declined 0.88% or 600 points to end at 67350 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL) was down 0.84% or 13 points to 1542.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 183 to 154 and 108 ended unchanged.
Shares in Isramco L (TA:ISRAp) rose to 52-week highs; up 0.67% or 0.5 to 74.6.
Crude oil for October delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $47.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $50.15 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.02% or 0.25 to trade at $1324.35 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.41% to 3.7764, while EUR/ILS fell 0.37% to 4.2288.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.84% at 95.48.
