Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Banking and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 fell 0.37%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were Strauss Group (TA:STRS), which rose 3.15% or 168 points to trade at 5494 at the close. Meanwhile, Melisron (TA:MLSR) added 1.12% or 170 points to end at 15310 and Mizrahi Tefahot (TA:MZTF) was up 0.96% or 45 points to 4730 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp), which fell 2.37% or 31 points to trade at 1276 at the close. Avner L (TA:AVNRp) declined 2.28% or 5.7 points to end at 244.5 and Isramco L (TA:ISRAp) was down 1.65% or 1.2 points to 71.4.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 176 to 136 and 137 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 1.95% or 0.90 to $45.15 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 2.25% or 1.11 to hit $48.49 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.28% or 3.10 to trade at $1118.30 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.27% to 3.9311, while EUR/ILS rose 0.36% to 4.3877.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.04% at 96.22.
