Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Biomed, Insurance and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.01%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG), which rose 3.92% or 1,440.00 points to trade at 38,210.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) added 2.44% or 1,430.00 points to end at 59,920.00 and Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT) was up 1.75% or 34.00 points to 1,981.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Strauss Group (TASE:STRS), which fell 2.13% or 183.00 points to trade at 8,402.00 at the close. OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE) declined 1.82% or 61.00 points to end at 3,296.00 and First International Bank of Israel Ltd (TASE:FIBI) was down 1.65% or 230.00 points to 13,670.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 268 to 207 and 24 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.91% or 0.70 to $77.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.01% or 0.84 to hit $83.84 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.01% or 0.25 to trade at $1,850.45 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.90% to 3.57, while EUR/ILS rose 0.84% to 3.82.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.00% at 103.78.
