Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Communication and Banking sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.13%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Bazan Oil Refineries Ltd (TA:ORL), which rose 2.46% or 3.8 points to trade at 158.3 at the close. Meanwhile, Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ) added 1.49% or 8.6 points to end at 583.9 and Poalim (TA:POLI) was up 1.10% or 26 points to 2385 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL), which fell 1.43% or 23 points to trade at 1587 at the close. Frutarom Industries Ltd (TA:FRUT) declined 1.20% or 300 points to end at 24600 and Big Shopping Centers Ltd (TA:BIG) was down 1.16% or 290 points to 24640.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 208 to 203 and 10 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.11% or 0.51 to $46.55 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.82% or 0.40 to hit $49.17 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 1.51% or 18.71 to trade at $1223.59 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.50% to 3.5056, while EUR/ILS fell 0.02% to 3.9844.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.53% at 95.90.
