Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Banking, Insurance and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 1.76%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO), which rose 5.21% or 4,510.00 points to trade at 91,120.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Harel (TASE:HARL) added 4.25% or 123.00 points to end at 3,015.00 and Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR) was up 4.17% or 6,530.00 points to 163,080.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Kenon Holdings Ltd (TASE:KEN), which fell 2.66% or 245.00 points to trade at 8,950.00 at the close. NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE) declined 1.24% or 980.00 points to end at 78,370.00 and Strauss Group (TASE:STRS) was down 1.19% or 103.00 points to 8,523.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 327 to 142 and 33 ended unchanged.
Shares in Kenon Holdings Ltd (TASE:KEN) fell to 52-week lows; losing 2.66% or 245.00 to 8,950.00.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.59% or 1.14 to $72.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.34% or 1.02 to hit $77.31 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 1.18% or 23.45 to trade at $1,958.05 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.82% to 3.65, while EUR/ILS fell 1.02% to 3.91.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 104.03.
