Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Biomed, Technology and Banking sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.96% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE), which rose 6.88% or 6,290 points to trade at 97,710 at the close. Meanwhile, Camtek (NASDAQ:CAMT) Ltd (TASE:CAMT) added 5.15% or 1,570 points to end at 32,070 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries (NYSE:TEVA) Ltd (TASE:TEVA) was up 3.46% or 170 points to 5,086 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Harel (TASE:HARL), which fell 2.54% or 92.00 points to trade at 3,528.00 at the close. ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) declined 1.88% or 37.00 points to end at 1,931.00 and Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG) was down 1.36% or 80.00 points to 5,787.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 249 to 236 and 55 ended unchanged.

Shares in Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) rose to 3-years highs; rising 3.46% or 170.00 to 5,086.00.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 1.71% or 1.38 to $82.01 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 1.52% or 1.29 to hit $86.12 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.78% or 16.75 to trade at $2,176.75 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.12% to 3.64, while EUR/ILS rose 0.45% to 3.95.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 103.90.
