Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Biomed, Technology and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.60% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Liveperson (TASE:LPSN), which rose 6.73% or 840 points to trade at 13320 at the close. Meanwhile, Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) added 5.73% or 192 points to end at 3542 and OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) was up 4.62% or 23 points to 521 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:AZRG), which fell 2.57% or 690 points to trade at 26110 at the close. Nice Ltd (TASE:NICE) declined 2.31% or 1270 points to end at 53790 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) was down 2.15% or 171 points to 7795.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 241 to 143 and 34 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $56.85 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.70% or 1.06 to hit $63.34 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.32% or 4.65 to trade at $1468.75 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.25% to 3.4732, while EUR/ILS rose 0.03% to 3.8386.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.17% at 97.857.
