Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Insurance and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.50%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which rose 5.14% or 63 points to trade at 1288 at the close. Meanwhile, Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) added 4.44% or 2760 points to end at 64990 and Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) was up 2.46% or 27 points to 1125 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Liveperson (TA:LPSN), which fell 2.15% or 197 points to trade at 8987 at the close. Leumi (TA:LUMI) declined 0.83% or 20 points to end at 2395 and First International Bank of Israel Ltd (TA:FTIN) was down 0.76% or 63 points to 8237.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 204 to 194 and 27 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.15% or 0.11 to $75.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.37% or 0.31 to hit $85.11 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.13% or 1.60 to trade at $1205.40 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.57% to 3.6275, while EUR/ILS fell 0.67% to 4.1853.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 95.23.
