Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Banking, Real Estate and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.38%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Energix (TASE:ENRG), which rose 3.35% or 44.00 points to trade at 1,356.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE:ENLT) added 2.68% or 165.00 points to end at 6,315.00 and Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT) was up 2.68% or 157.00 points to 6,024.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nova (TASE:NVMI), which fell 2.33% or 1,550.00 points to trade at 65,000.00 at the close. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) declined 1.34% or 66.00 points to end at 4,856.00 and Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) was down 1.05% or 820.00 points to 77,200.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 244 to 225 and 67 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 2.79% or 2.18 to $80.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 2.11% or 1.73 to hit $83.77 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.31% or 6.55 to trade at $2,148.45 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.05% to 3.59, while EUR/ILS rose 0.51% to 3.91.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.47% at 103.26.
