Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Financials, Insurance and Banking sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.38%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which rose 15.78% or 184 points to trade at 1350 at the close. Meanwhile, Harel (TA:HARL) added 2.84% or 72 points to end at 2607 and Nice Ltd (TA:NICE) was up 2.36% or 820 points to 35590 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Perrigo (TA:PRGO), which fell 2.95% or 800 points to trade at 26360 at the close. Partner (TA:PTNR) declined 2.21% or 31 points to end at 1370 and Amot Investments Ltd (TA:AMOT) was down 1.68% or 30 points to 1751.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 242 to 143 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in Partner (TA:PTNR) fell to 52-week lows; falling 2.21% or 31 to 1370. Shares in Nice Ltd (TA:NICE) rose to all time highs; up 2.36% or 820 to 35590.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 2.90% or 2.00 to $71.06 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 2.95% or 2.21 to hit $77.06 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.18% or 2.40 to trade at $1316.10 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.81% to 3.5887, while EUR/ILS fell 0.86% to 4.2558.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 92.90.
