Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Communication, Oil & Gas and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.06%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ), which rose 4.00% or 20.90 points to trade at 542.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Nova (TASE:NVMI) added 3.08% or 1,360.00 points to end at 45,460.00 and OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE) was up 2.85% or 71.00 points to 2,562.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM), which fell 2.35% or 310.00 points to trade at 12,900.00 at the close. Energix (TASE:ENRG) declined 2.07% or 27.00 points to end at 1,276.00 and Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE:ENLT) was down 1.64% or 108.00 points to 6,471.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 250 to 212 and 44 ended unchanged.
Shares in Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) fell to 52-week lows; losing 2.35% or 310.00 to 12,900.00.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.40% or 1.18 to $83.22 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.97% or 0.85 to hit $86.70 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.07% or 1.35 to trade at $1,951.95 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.19% to 3.71, while EUR/ILS rose 0.53% to 4.09.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 102.19.
