Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Technology, Biomed and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.03%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA), which rose 3.56% or 164 points to trade at 4770 at the close. Meanwhile, Partner (TA:PTNR) added 3.33% or 68 points to end at 2109 and Elbit Systems Ltd (TA:ESLT) was up 2.17% or 1060 points to 49970 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ), which fell 4.68% or 24.0 points to trade at 489.0 at the close. Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) declined 1.44% or 830 points to end at 56640 and Leumi (TA:LUMI) was down 1.23% or 24 points to 1930.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 206 to 191 and 23 ended unchanged.
Shares in Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) fell to 52-week lows; down 1.44% or 830 to 56640.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 1.53% or 0.87 to $57.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.56% or 0.35 to hit $62.92 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.57% or 7.31 to trade at $1289.01 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.02% to 3.5154, while EUR/ILS rose 0.37% to 4.1430.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.47% at 93.45.
