Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Banking, Financials and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.11%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Leumi (TA:LUMI), which rose 2.49% or 40 points to trade at 1649 at the close. Meanwhile, Poalim (TA:POLI) added 2.42% or 52 points to end at 2197 and Sodastream International Ltd (TA:SODA) was up 2.36% or 430.0 points to 18680.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which fell 2.83% or 78 points to trade at 2675 at the close. Frutarom (TA:FRUT) declined 2.43% or 530 points to end at 21240 and Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) was down 2.15% or 1440 points to 65410.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 209 to 178 and 48 ended unchanged.
Shares in OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) fell to 3-years lows; down 2.83% or 78 to 2675.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.11% or 0.06 to $52.71 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.23% or 0.13 to hit $55.23 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.15% or 1.90 to trade at $1290.00 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.29% to 3.6721, while EUR/ILS rose 0.75% to 3.9291.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.49% at 99.71.
