Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Retail, Household and Construction sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General-Composite fell 0.30%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General-Composite were Selonda Aquaculture SA (AT:SELr), which rose 9.66% or 0.0140 points to trade at 0.1590 at the close. Meanwhile, Athens Medical (AT:AMCr) added 7.37% or 0.048 points to end at 0.699 and Autohellas (AT:AUTr) was up 4.08% or 0.50 points to 12.75 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Folli Follie (AT:HDFr), which fell 5.02% or 1.10 points to trade at 20.82 at the close. Flexopack SA (AT:FLXr) declined 4.36% or 0.1200 points to end at 2.6300 and Select Textile (AT:EPIr) was down 4.29% or 0.006 points to 0.134.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 58 to 38 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in Autohellas (AT:AUTr) rose to 52-week highs; rising 4.08% or 0.50 to 12.75.
Gold for December delivery was down 0.65% or 8.55 to $1299.65 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 1.32% or 0.60 to hit $44.74 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract fell 0.81% or 0.38 to trade at $46.48 a barrel.
EUR/USD was down 0.03% to 1.1095, while EUR/GBP fell 1.25% to 0.8909.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.13% at 97.26.
