Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Construction, Household and Banking sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General-Composite lost 0.21% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General-Composite were Quest Holdings (AT:IQTr), which rose 5.42% or 0.380 points to trade at 7.390 at the close. Meanwhile, Mytilineos Holdings SA (AT:MYTr) added 5.40% or 0.330 points to end at 6.440 and Attica Bank SA (AT:BOAr) was up 5.26% or 0.002 points to 0.040 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Selonda Aquaculture SA (AT:SELr), which fell 8.64% or 0.0140 points to trade at 0.1630 at the close. Papoutsanis (AT:PSALr) declined 5.00% or 0.010 points to end at 0.190 and Athens Medical (AT:AMCr) was down 4.42% or 0.026 points to 0.562.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 46 to 46 and 19 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for April delivery was up 1.42% or 16.95 to $1212.95 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in March rose 1.62% or 0.85 to hit $53.48 a barrel, while the April Brent oil contract rose 1.79% or 0.99 to trade at $56.31 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.91% to 1.0792, while EUR/GBP rose 0.28% to 0.8588.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.85% at 99.57.
