Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Technology, Industrials and Utilities sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.75%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE), which rose 2.10% or 0.71 points to trade at 34.58 at the close. Meanwhile, Tieto Oyj (HE:TIE1V) added 0.39% or 0.10 points to end at 25.84 and Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:NRE1V) was up 0.24% or 0.08 points to 33.31 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS), which fell 3.59% or 0.91 points to trade at 24.47 at the close. Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) declined 3.10% or 0.134 points to end at 4.192 and Konecranes Oyj (HE:KCR1V) was down 3.04% or 0.82 points to 26.12.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 111 to 60 and 19 ended unchanged.
Shares in Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE) rose to all time highs; gaining 2.10% or 0.71 to 34.58.
Brent oil for October delivery was down 3.45% or 1.50 to $42.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 3.80% or 1.58 to hit $40.02 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.12% or 1.65 to trade at $1359.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.04% to 1.1170, while EUR/GBP rose 0.14% to 0.8459.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.10% at 95.63.
