Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Technology, Telecoms and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 gained 1.24% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA), which rose 3.60% or 0.162 points to trade at 4.658 at the close. Meanwhile, YIT Oyj (HE:YTY1V) added 1.97% or 0.15 points to end at 7.76 and Konecranes Oyj (HE:KCR1V) was up 1.88% or 0.64 points to 34.64 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which fell 0.42% or 0.0350 points to trade at 8.2550 at the close. Kesko Oyj B (HE:KESBV) added 0.34% or 0.16 points to end at 47.27 and KONE Oyj (HE:KNEBV) was up 0.36% or 0.15 points to 42.40.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 103 to 36 and 13 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for February delivery was down 0.16% or 0.09 to $54.96 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in February fell 0.26% or 0.14 to hit $52.81 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 0.27% or 3.00 to trade at $1133.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.13% to 1.0450, while EUR/GBP rose 0.35% to 0.8527.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.07% at 103.00.
