Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrials, Consumer Services and Basic Materials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 rose 0.83%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V), which rose 3.69% or 0.210 points to trade at 5.900 at the close. Meanwhile, Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) added 2.11% or 0.96 points to end at 46.51 and Metso Oyj (HE:METSO) was up 2.07% or 0.60 points to 29.54 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV), which fell 3.78% or 1.93 points to trade at 49.07 at the close. Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) declined 0.69% or 0.0650 points to end at 9.3300 and Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) was down 0.64% or 0.14 points to 21.66.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 101 to 29 and 18 ended unchanged.

Brent oil for May delivery was down 0.02% or 0.01 to $50.63 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in May fell 0.48% or 0.23 to hit $47.81 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.22% or 2.70 to trade at $1247.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.10% to 1.0785, while EUR/GBP fell 0.43% to 0.8611.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 99.53.
