Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Healthcare, Oil & Gas and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 gained 0.81%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV), which rose 7.54% or 3.31 points to trade at 47.23 at the close. Meanwhile, Valmt (HE:VALMT) added 6.06% or 0.85 points to end at 14.87 and Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) was up 5.88% or 2.52 points to 45.37 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS), which fell 7.35% or 1.80 points to trade at 22.70 at the close. Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V) declined 1.64% or 0.56 points to end at 33.49 and Kesko Oyj B (HE:KESBV) was down 0.88% or 0.40 points to 44.82.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 80 to 59 and 14 ended unchanged.

Brent oil for April delivery was up 0.91% or 0.50 to $55.62 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in March rose 1.38% or 0.72 to hit $53.06 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.45% or 5.55 to trade at $1233.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.36% to 1.0659, while EUR/GBP fell 0.25% to 0.8511.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.46% at 100.60.
