Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Telecoms, Healthcare and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 rose 0.32%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV), which rose 1.95% or 0.58 points to trade at 30.38 at the close. Meanwhile, Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) added 1.82% or 0.46 points to end at 25.80 and Nordea Bank AB (publ) FDR (HE:NDA1V) was up 1.81% or 0.145 points to 8.135 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which fell 6.89% or 0.2400 points to trade at 3.2420 at the close. Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) declined 2.10% or 0.072 points to end at 3.358 and Kemira Oyj (HE:KRA1V) was down 2.00% or 0.21 points to 10.31.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 89 to 80 and 18 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for July delivery was down 3.28% or 1.49 to $43.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in June fell 2.33% or 1.04 to hit $43.62 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 2.08% or 26.95 to trade at $1267.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.04% to 1.1400, while EUR/GBP rose 0.14% to 0.7912.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.23% at 94.05.
