Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 gained 0.89% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V), which rose 10.45% or 0.696 points to trade at 7.356 at the close. Meanwhile, Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE) added 10.24% or 6.44 points to end at 69.34 and Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) was up 4.63% or 1.12 points to 25.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Valmt (HE:VALMT), which fell 4.12% or 0.68 points to trade at 15.81 at the close. Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) declined 2.72% or 0.1440 points to end at 5.1460 and KONE Oyj (HE:KNEBV) was down 1.65% or 0.70 points to 41.71.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 75 to 70 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE) rose to all time highs; up 10.24% or 6.44 to 69.34. Shares in Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) fell to 52-week lows; down 2.72% or 0.1440 to 5.1460.
Brent oil for June delivery was up 0.07% or 0.05 to $74.79 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in June unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $68.19 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.44% or 5.80 to trade at $1323.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.05% to 1.2110, while EUR/GBP rose 1.03% to 0.8786.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 91.42.
