Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 rose 0.58% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE), which rose 2.74% or 1.04 points to trade at 38.99 at the close. Meanwhile, Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) added 1.37% or 0.53 points to end at 39.09 and Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) was up 1.31% or 0.52 points to 40.28 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Metso Oyj (HE:METSO), which fell 1.22% or 0.38 points to trade at 30.87 at the close. Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) declined 0.52% or 0.035 points to end at 6.650 and Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) was down 0.17% or 0.0150 points to 8.8400.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 79 to 62 and 15 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for December delivery was up 0.47% or 0.26 to $55.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 0.75% or 0.37 to hit $49.66 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.81% or 10.29 to trade at $1285.19 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.14% to 1.1748, while EUR/GBP fell 0.46% to 0.8933.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 93.52.
