Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Healthcare and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.41% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which rose 2.14% or 7.9 points to trade at 377.1 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) added 0.66% or 0.55 points to end at 84.20 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) was up 0.48% or 1.2 points to 251.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which fell 2.81% or 17.5 points to trade at 604.5 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) declined 2.36% or 6.7 points to end at 277.2 and Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) was down 2.29% or 6.6 points to 281.6.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 81 to 33 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.31% or 0.14 to $44.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.13% or 0.06 to hit $47.60 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.26% or 3.19 to trade at $1245.91 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.44% to 6.5081, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4366.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.37% at 95.43.
