Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Industrials and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.38%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which rose 0.23% or 0.07 points to trade at 30.78 at the close. Meanwhile, Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) added 0.12% or 0.5 points to end at 427.4 and DSV (CO:DSV) was unchanged 0.00% or 0.0 points to 284.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ISS A/S (CO:ISS), which fell 2.34% or 5.90 points to trade at 245.90 at the close. Novo Nordisk B (CO:NOVOb) declined 2.07% or 8.0 points to end at 378.0 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was down 2.02% or 10.5 points to 510.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 90 to 48 and 13 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 2.21% or 0.82 to $36.36 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 2.25% or 0.89 to hit $38.64 a barrel, while the April Gold contract fell 1.21% or 15.10 to trade at $1230.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.07% to 6.7126, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4577.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.06% at 96.66.
