Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Consumer Goods, Healthcare and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.20%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV (COP:DSV), which rose 0.77% or 1.8 points to trade at 236.2 at the close. Meanwhile, TDC A/S (COP:TDC) added 0.59% or 0.30 points to end at 50.80 and GN Store Nord (COP:GN) was up 0.41% or 0.6 points to 146.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tryg A/S (COP:TRYG), which fell 3.69% or 5.2 points to trade at 135.7 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (COP:CARLb) declined 2.42% or 15.5 points to end at 624.5 and Novo Nordisk B (COP:NOVOb) was down 1.86% or 7.2 points to 379.3.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 95 to 65 and 9 ended unchanged.
Shares in DSV (COP:DSV) rose to all time highs; gaining 0.77% or 1.8 to 236.2.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 3.57% or 2.06 to $59.74 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 3.64% or 2.27 to hit $64.86 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.06% or 0.70 to trade at $1189.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.26% to 6.7952, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4608.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.08% at 97.05.
