Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Consumer Goods and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.96%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which rose 5.33% or 20.6 points to trade at 407.2 at the close. Meanwhile, A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) added 1.66% or 170 points to end at 10420 and Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) was up 1.55% or 1.10 points to 72.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb), which fell 11.22% or 32.1 points to trade at 253.9 at the close. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) declined 2.00% or 2.8 points to end at 137.0 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was down 1.78% or 11.0 points to 608.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 103 to 48 and 10 ended unchanged.
Shares in Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) fell to 52-week lows; losing 11.22% or 32.1 to 253.9.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.14% or 0.57 to $49.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.40% or 0.71 to hit $50.08 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.40% or 5.05 to trade at $1268.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.22% to 6.8157, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4386.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.12% at 98.57.
