Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Healthcare and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.85%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes B (CO:NZYMb), which rose 0.76% or 2.2 points to trade at 290.7 at the close. Meanwhile, Tryg A/S (CO:TRYG) added 0.64% or 0.8 points to end at 126.3 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) was up 0.56% or 1.5 points to 267.7 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were DSV (CO:DSV), which fell 3.14% or 8.9 points to trade at 274.1 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 1.86% or 165 points to end at 8720 and Novo Nordisk B (CO:NOVOb) was down 1.64% or 6.0 points to 360.5.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 70 to 68 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.61% or 0.25 to $41.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.34% or 0.14 to hit $41.34 a barrel, while the April Gold contract fell 0.81% or 10.20 to trade at $1244.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.24% to 6.6296, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4543.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.28% at 95.34.
