Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Chemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.75%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 5.71% or 49.0 points to trade at 907.5 at the close. Meanwhile, William Demant Holding (CO:WDH) added 0.61% or 4.0 points to end at 658.5 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) was up 0.50% or 1.30 points to 262.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb), which fell 2.99% or 265 points to trade at 8590 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 2.96% or 255 points to end at 8360 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was down 2.12% or 6.4 points to 295.6.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 74 to 70 and 24 ended unchanged.
Shares in ISS A/S (CO:ISS) rose to all time highs; gaining 0.50% or 1.30 to 262.90.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.13% or 0.05 to $38.27 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.35% or 0.14 to hit $40.19 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.59% or 7.20 to trade at $1235.80 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.42% to 6.5453, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4512.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.25% at 94.55.
