Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.66% to hit a new 6-months low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 1.73% or 13.5 points to trade at 795.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) added 0.86% or 4.2 points to end at 493.2 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) was up 0.47% or 1.2 points to 257.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which fell 3.90% or 21.5 points to trade at 529.5 at the close. Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) declined 3.02% or 2.10 points to end at 67.40 and TDC A/S (CO:TDC) was down 1.63% or 0.63 points to 38.05.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 92 to 42 and 27 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.13% or 0.58 to $50.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.28% or 0.68 to hit $52.46 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.15% or 1.85 to trade at $1258.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.72% to 6.7280, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4410.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.67% at 97.56.
