Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Oil & Gas and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.60%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb), which rose 4.11% or 9.9 points to trade at 250.9 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CO:GEN) added 2.66% or 32.0 points to end at 1236.0 and TDC A/S (CO:TDC) was up 1.94% or 0.68 points to 35.78 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG), which fell 2.72% or 7.30 points to trade at 260.80 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 2.09% or 19.0 points to end at 888.0 and DSV (CO:DSV) was down 2.04% or 6.5 points to 311.6.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 67 to 52 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 1.51% or 0.79 to $53.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.48% or 0.82 to hit $56.29 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 0.44% or 5.15 to trade at $1167.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.69% to 7.0947, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4341.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.67% at 102.55.
