Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Personal & Household Goods and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.44%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which rose 1.59% or 0.60 points to trade at 38.40 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) added 1.52% or 200 points to end at 13340 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) was up 1.36% or 3.50 points to 260.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA), which fell 2.31% or 2.05 points to trade at 86.65 at the close. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) declined 2.29% or 9.5 points to end at 405.7 and Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) was down 1.39% or 3.9 points to 275.8.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 63 to 53 and 19 ended unchanged.
Shares in AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) rose to 52-week highs; rising 1.52% or 200 to 13340.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.61% or 0.28 to $46.30 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.66% or 0.32 to hit $48.74 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.62% or 7.59 to trade at $1241.29 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.75% to 6.4301, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4368.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.55% at 94.40.
