Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Consumer Services, Personal & Household Goods and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.44%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS), which rose 3.70% or 9.0 points to trade at 252.0 at the close. Meanwhile, A.P. Moller - Maersk B (COP:MAERSKb) added 0.44% or 50 points to end at 11350 and A.P. Moller - Maersk A (COP:MAERSKa) was up 0.36% or 40 points to 11090 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (COP:GEN), which fell 3.03% or 18.5 points to trade at 591.5 at the close. Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (COP:CHRH) declined 1.74% or 5.9 points to end at 332.8 and GN Store Nord (COP:GN) was down 1.74% or 2.1 points to 118.9.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 87 to 67 and 5 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 6.91% or 2.94 to $45.50 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 6.13% or 2.92 to hit $50.48 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.94% or 10.50 to trade at $1133.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.74% to 6.6857, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4635.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.57% at 96.29.
