Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Financials and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.37%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb), which rose 1.61% or 4.5 points to trade at 284.4 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) added 1.43% or 160 points to end at 11380 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) was up 1.20% or 140 points to 11840 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which fell 3.21% or 14.1 points to trade at 425.4 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) declined 1.57% or 9.0 points to end at 565.5 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) was down 1.55% or 3.7 points to 235.1.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 69 to 45 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 1.04% or 0.54 to $52.24 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.73% or 0.40 to hit $55.29 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.07% or 13.45 to trade at $1266.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.33% to 7.0093, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4362.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 100.87.
