Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Chemicals, Industrials and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.29%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk B (COP:NOVOb), which rose 0.62% or 2.3 points to trade at 371.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (COP:GEN) added 0.60% or 3.5 points to end at 583.0 and Novozymes B (COP:NZYMb) was up 0.43% or 1.4 points to 328.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Jyske Bank A/S (COP:JYSK), which fell 2.29% or 7.8 points to trade at 332.9 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk B (COP:MAERSKb) declined 2.26% or 270 points to end at 11680 and Nordea Bank AB (COP:NDA) was down 2.15% or 1.80 points to 82.05.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 87 to 63 and 4 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 2.97% or 1.65 to $53.87 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 3.67% or 2.21 to hit $58.10 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.09% or 1.10 to trade at $1166.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.32% to 6.7356, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4634.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.12% at 96.26.
