Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Healthcare, Consumer Services and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.19%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA), which rose 1.07% or 0.60 points to trade at 56.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) added 0.87% or 2.3 points to end at 265.5 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) was up 0.86% or 1.5 points to 176.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which fell 1.39% or 3.7 points to trade at 262.1 at the close. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 1.10% or 13.0 points to end at 1170.0 and Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) was down 0.54% or 2.0 points to 370.6.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 74 to 66 and 22 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.72% or 0.77 to $45.52 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.90% or 0.88 to hit $47.14 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 1.01% or 13.55 to trade at $1330.05 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.29% to 6.6885, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4376.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.30% at 96.07.
