Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Chemicals, Healthcare and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.14%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa), which rose 2.70% or 300 points to trade at 11400 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) added 1.98% or 230 points to end at 11860 and Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG) was up 0.92% or 2.30 points to 252.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which fell 1.26% or 5.2 points to trade at 408.8 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) declined 1.02% or 2.4 points to end at 232.6 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was down 0.73% or 10.0 points to 1352.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 58 to 58 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 3.50% or 1.86 to $51.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 3.20% or 1.79 to hit $54.13 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.59% or 7.15 to trade at $1208.95 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.22% to 7.0495, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4333.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 102.11.
