Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Chemicals, Oil & Gas and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.10%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 1.89% or 16.5 points to trade at 891.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) added 0.62% or 4.0 points to end at 653.5 and TDC A/S (CO:TDC) was up 0.32% or 0.11 points to 35.03 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which fell 1.31% or 3.6 points to trade at 270.4 at the close. Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) declined 1.19% or 5.1 points to end at 423.2 and DSV (CO:DSV) was down 0.52% or 1.5 points to 284.6.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 72 to 64 and 23 ended unchanged.
Shares in Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) rose to all time highs; rising 0.62% or 4.0 to 653.5.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.84% or 0.84 to $44.91 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.67% or 0.79 to hit $46.38 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.89% or 11.80 to trade at $1331.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.05% to 6.7569, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4393.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.13% at 97.03.
