Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Real Estate and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.07%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb), which rose 1.99% or 5.8 points to trade at 297.0 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) added 1.47% or 190 points to end at 13090 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was up 1.32% or 5.2 points to 398.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which fell 2.55% or 16.0 points to trade at 611.0 at the close. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) declined 1.99% or 7.8 points to end at 384.0 and Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) was down 1.23% or 3.3 points to 264.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 78 to 41 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) rose to 5-year highs; rising 1.32% or 5.2 to 398.0.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.80% or 0.39 to $49.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.14% or 0.58 to hit $51.55 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.61% or 7.67 to trade at $1257.07 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.66% to 6.3792, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4359.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.66% at 93.91.
