Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Industrials, Consumer Goods and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.05%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were ISS A/S (CO:ISS), which rose 0.74% or 1.90 points to trade at 258.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 0.73% or 7.0 points to end at 967.0 and Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) was up 0.57% or 0.35 points to 61.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which fell 3.58% or 8.9 points to trade at 240.0 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 1.33% or 115 points to end at 8515 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) was down 1.07% or 95 points to 8810.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 79 to 58 and 15 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 1.08% or 0.52 to $48.83 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.77% or 0.38 to hit $49.66 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.33% or 4.15 to trade at $1272.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.35% to 6.5972, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4367.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.20% at 94.74.
