Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrials, Consumer Services and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.04%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS), which rose 1.71% or 5.6 points to trade at 333.1 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (COP:GEN) added 0.78% or 4.5 points to end at 582.0 and Novo Nordisk B (COP:NOVOb) was up 0.54% or 2.1 points to 390.1 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were COLOPLAST B (COP:COLOb), which fell 1.81% or 9.5 points to trade at 516.5 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (COP:MAERSKa) declined 1.73% or 220 points to end at 12480 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (COP:MAERSKb) was down 1.60% or 210 points to 12900.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 93 to 66 and 7 ended unchanged.
Shares in FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS) rose to 52-week highs; rising 1.71% or 5.6 to 333.1.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 2.56% or 1.53 to $58.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 2.80% or 1.83 to hit $63.69 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 1.45% or 17.50 to trade at $1187.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.82% to 6.8487, while EUR/DKK fell 0.04% to 7.4535.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.89% at 97.32.
