Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.02%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which rose 1.89% or 0.69 points to trade at 37.25 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) added 1.28% or 6.5 points to end at 515.0 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was up 1.19% or 4.4 points to 375.3 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which fell 1.44% or 12.5 points to trade at 856.0 at the close. Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG) declined 1.34% or 3.50 points to end at 258.50 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was down 1.16% or 5.8 points to 494.7.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 66 to 49 and 23 ended unchanged.
Shares in Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) rose to 52-week highs; up 1.19% or 4.4 to 375.3.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.45% or 0.24 to $53.17 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.65% or 0.36 to hit $55.95 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.05% or 0.65 to trade at $1225.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.30% to 7.0379, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4366.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.35% at 101.35.
